Decide on what you think is right, and stick to it.

Microsoft Office Live Marketing Tip: Get into the
"Ergonomics" business FOR YOU: Proven headlines Leasing
Term: "Warm finish"
From Dr. Jean: I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving - 4
days off! And I have lots of projects I want to do.
As usual, I have more planned than I will ever be able to
achieve. Does this sound familiar? The trick is
to focus on LESS, not MORE. Learn to prioritize and to
do the most important thing first. The most important thing
is the one thing that you need to do to get moving on your
business each day. There's always that one thing.
Then when you have that one done, there's another one thing.
And so on... Don't get sidetracked into doing less important
things. But do take time to be with your family and
just relax and give thanks. Have a great Thanksgiving,
and hurrah for the pumpkin pie!
What's New: Microsoft has developed a new program that
you might want to check out, which allows you to create an
online presence (website), for free. It's called
"Microsoft Office Live" and it includes:
* Personalized business domain name
* Professional, hosted Web site
* Easy-to-use design tools
* 5 business e-mail accounts
* Web site traffic reports
Wow! If this is true, it could make setting up a web
site quick and easy and CHEAP! If you are adventurous, check
it out and let me know what you think; I will also test it
and report back soon. The link is:

Marketing Tip: Get into the "Ergonomics" business.
Ergonomics (the study of preventing and treating
musculoskeletal disorders (MDS's) caused by repetitive jobs)
is the hottest new area for OSHA. And it certainly has
much to do with chiropractic. Study this subject, talk to
OSHA people, and become the local expert on this subject.
This would be a great subject to use for speaking to
employee groups or professional groups in your town.
To get you started, here's an OSHA website with information:
http://www.osha.gov/SLTC/ergonomics/four-pronged_factsheet.html
FOR YOU: Proven Headlines. Here are five
headlines that marketing gurus tell us are the top
attention-getters and proven to get a response. I've
adapted them to a chiropractic practice; feel free to change
to suit your needs.
One warning: Be careful not to
promise anything you can't deliver (like freedom from pain).
1. THE QUESTION: "Are you worried about your family's
health?" "Do you have chronic pain?"
2. The How-To: "How to Achieve Ultimate Wellness" "How to
Get your family on the track to better health"
3. The Testimonial: "Sam Smith found relief from Crohn's
Disease at Ultimate Chiropractic" "Sam Smith says:
"Ultimate Chiropractic is the place to get relief from
Crohn's Disease!"
4. The Command: "Get on the road to Ultimate Wellness
-Today!" "Boost your Immune System - the Drug-Free
Way!"
5. The News: "Introducing our new Ultimate Wellness massage
therapy services"
Leasing Term: "Warm Finish"
In a discussion with a recent grad, he gave me a new leasing
term: "warm finish." This means that in a new building
the building will be partially finished (HVAC and concrete,
for example) as part of the landlord's responsibility to the
new client. Getting this kind of concession would save
you a lot of money on build-out, so don't be afraid to ask
for it. For more information about office leasing,
